Black Hat Defense Online Booking Policy for Penetration Testing 1. **Scope of Service** This penetration testing service covers network tests for up to five (5) IP addresses on computers or network equipment such as routers. Supported operating systems include Windows, Linux, and macOS. This service does **not** cover testing for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, including but not limited to tablets, smartphones, or medical devices. 2. **Booking and Payment** When booking a penetration test online, the prices provided are based on the scope of work and are subject to change. In the event of a price change, the final charge will be adjusted accordingly. If the final price is lower than initially quoted, a refund will be issued for the difference. If the price is higher, the additional amount will be added to the balance due at the time of final payment. 3. **Liability Release** By booking our services, you acknowledge and agree that Black Hat Defense is not responsible for any damages that may occur as a result of the penetration testing process. This includes, but is not limited to, any data loss, downtime, or hardware failure that may occur during or after the testing. The client assumes full responsibility for ensuring that appropriate backups and safeguards are in place prior to the commencement of any testing. 4. **Cancellation and Refund Policy** Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled test will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled test will be subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the quoted price. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on the day of the scheduled test or for no-shows. 5. **Changes to the Scope of Work** Any changes to the scope of work after booking must be communicated in writing and may result in a price adjustment. Black Hat Defense reserves the right to adjust the timeline and fees based on the revised scope. 6. **Confidentiality** All information provided by the client during the booking process and throughout the engagement will be treated as confidential. Black Hat Defense will not disclose any information to third parties without the client's explicit consent, except where required by law. 7. **Agreement** By booking a penetration testing service with Black Hat Defense, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
